Are you not winning in life right now? Of course not! That’s why you’re here.
But you are taking a massive step in the right direction by reading what we have to say here at Borkmeow. Trust me. We’re not here to yank your chain.
So, let’s get into this. Let’s turn you into a winner. Let’s figure out why you’re losing, and what you can do about it.
Here are seven reasons you’re not winning in life.
1. You Learn It But You Don’t Apply It
Everybody learns things – not everyone does anything with it or changes based on what they’ve learned.
This is not Jeopardy, nor is it Science class. This is life. You can’t just memorize a bunch of answers and hope to get an “A”. Nope!
Get into some good books and apply what you learn. Do it. Do it NOW!

Uhh… I think you need to chill out, Arnie.
2. You Give Up Too Easily
Were you one of those kids that stopped at the 100-meter mark in a 500-meter run?
I can’t say that I’ve witnessed that myself but just imagine it using your imagination. Okay?
My point is that the finish line is further ahead. It may not be as far ahead as you might think, but you have to keep going. Things get tough, and you may have to change your strategy, but consistency is ridiculously important.
Like if you just drilled an inch deeper, you would strike gold or some such.
Doesn’t that motivate you?
3. You’re Not Consistent
You pick up the phone. You close a sale. You’re all excited.
Then what do you do? Nothing.
Even though everything about the process went well, you revert back to your old habits and fail to take action.
If something is working, keeping doing it! Do it every single day if you can. Don’t stop prematurely.
Keep the winners. Ditch the losers. Or so they say.
4. Your Mom
She’s holding you back, man. Like crabs in a bucket.
No, I’m just kidding. I just like to say “your mom” on every list.
(Truth is, I’m contractually obligated to say it and the Borkmeow team won’t let me get away without saying it in every post.)
5. You Don’t Set Goals
You don’t set goals? So what’s new? Most people never do.
“But I have all my goals in my head”, you may say.
You still have to write them down and put them into specific terms with a timeframe. You have to reverse engineer achievement and determine what you can do on a daily basis to accomplish your objectives.
Every five-year-old knows that.
6. You’re An Idiot
Who gets this personal growth stuff anyway? Isn’t it for the kids who got bullied in school?
As if you need to learn anything new. Winning is just happenstance, bro.
Now for the one reason you might actually make it…
You’re human, just like everyone else. People who are winning in life are also human, oddly enough. They, too, are sometimes vulnerable or lonely, sometimes sad or scared. If they can do it, you can do it too.
7. You Haven’t Borkmarked Us
I don’t know how you expect to get anywhere without Borkmeow in your life.
We’ve got so many posts. Like 7 Reasons You’re Not Making Any Money Online.
Okay, I guess that’s the only other post we’ve got right now. So, sue me (please don’t).
But just trust me when I say we’ve got a lot more coming your way. And, you’re going to laugh your ass off.
Reasons You’re Not Winning Anything In Life Conclusion
No, I’ve never been accused of keyword stuffing an article like this.
I don’t wait for the last second to do it.
I’m not going to go on and on about winning, losing, relationships, life, personal growth, personal development, achievement, accomplishment, adding value, being of service, contribution, yada, yada, yada.
Nope. Not me.
So, with that, I’d like to conclude another insanely value-adding piece. Calling it a “value bomb” is simply insufficient, this is an outright value nuke.
Share it with your neighbor. Share it with your family. Share it with your friends. Share it with local politicians. They will thank you later.
